The Royal British Legion Iron Butt bike ride was a success raising over £840 to charity . It rained for over 15 hours and some did not make the deadline of 1,000 in 24 hours. A Thanks to my supporters , which their contributions and faith kept me going through the grueling rain and cold….riding through the night . My time was 22 hours .
Many commiserations to the riders who came in 10 minutes after the 24 hour deadline and did not qualify for the IRON BUTT certificate ……. heartbreaking FOR THEM but they raised money for a good cause …. also a special thanks to “Steve Howard” who rode with me for the 23 hours who’s mascara kept running https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/howard-ratcliffe
